Destination : Mumbai-Mahabaleshwar
Mahabaleshwar is one of Maharashtra’s most spectacular hill towns. Situated at a height of 1372 metres, it offers stunning views of the green valley, and of the Arabian Sea, on clear days. It has several famous viewing points, some of which are reachable by motorable roads. It is an extremely popular place to visit to get away from the heat, dust and pressures of the plains and city life.

Once the summer capital of the Mumbai Presidency during the days of the British Raj, Mahabeshwar’s viewing points are named after the former British dignitary. One can go trekking, take part in adventure activities, enjoy the spectacular views, see old ruins and waterfalls and enjoy being so close to nature.

Clearly, there’s a lot you can do in Mahabaleshwar!
